Full professor of electronics at the Department of Electronic Engineering of the University of Rome Tor Vergata where he teaches courses on “Electronic Devices and Sensors” and “Sensor Systems”. His research activities include the development and application of chemical, bio-sensors, and artificial sensorial systems (olfaction and taste), the study of the optical and electronic properties of organic and molecular materials and with the application of machine learning to chemical sensors. Corrado Di Natale authored more than 300 papers on international journals and conference proceedings. His papers received 13324 citations with a H-index=63 (Scopus, Jan. 2022). He chaired the 9th International Symposium on Olfaction and Electronic Nose (Rome, 2002) and Eurosensors XVIII Conference (Rome, 2004) and was member of the organizing committee of national and international conferences in sensors. He serves as component of the editorial board of the journals Scientific Reports and Sensors; of the steering committee of the Eurosensors conferences series, and of the technical programme committee of the Transducers conferences series. He is chairman of the Italian Association on Sensors and Microsystems and past-president (2017-19) of the International Society on Olfaction and Chemical Sensors.

Full professor of general chemistry at the Department of Chemical Science and Technology of the University of Rome Tor Vergata. His research interests include the synthesis and reactivity of transition metal complexes with porphyrins and related macrocycles and the development and application of chemical sensors. Ha authored more than 300 papers on international journals and conferences. His papers received 12630 citations with a H-index=59 (Scopus, Jan. 2022). He was chairman of the 4th International Conference on Porphyrins and Phtalocyanines (Rome 2006). He serves in the Editorial Board of the Journal of Porphyrins and Phththalocyanines and in the steering committee of the International Meeting of Chemical Sensors conferences series.
