Sensors Group is partner of a research project funded by King Abdullah University of Science and Technology (KAUST) and aimed at developing a sensor system to detect red palm weevil infestation from the detection of volatile compounds. Projects starts July 2018 and involves besides Saudi partners the University of Manchester, the University of Rome Tor Vergata and the Institute National Recherché Agronomique in Versailles.
